The session 2018-19 has been an enriching one. It witnessed improvements in the performance of students and their claim to success in various fields.
Go Green Initiative
In accordance with the promotion of Green Policy and the need to protect the environment, the students and management participated in the green drive in the school and planted saplings in the campus as trees are ‘Green Gold.’ Children are conscious about the need to take care of plants and everyday while going home, they empty their left over water for the plants. On birthdays, students and parents are motivated to bring a sapling for planting in the school campus or a book for the school library. Every class is aware about the need to conserve water and turn off the water taps when not in use. We also encourage the students to only use cloth bag in the school, instead of the plastic ones. Use of thermocol is also discouraged as it is harmful for the environment. Students are also encouraged not to waste electricity and switch off the fans and lights when not needed. The school is using energy saving LEDs and CFLs. Rainwater harvesting has also been done so that rainwater does not go waste. There is also a proposal for using solar energy in the school.
